Job # PR26047 Job Title Marketing Associate Office Location Houston, Texas preferred Business Function /Department Business Development / Marketing Sales Territory, if applicable N/A General Role Description Execute client-facing marketing activities and coordinate event-related administrative processes, while performing a variety of operational tasks to advance overall marketing and branding objectives Role Accountabilities - Coordinate event logistics such as booth materials, shipping, travel and vendor communications, as assigned - Coordinate the administration of registration deadlines, sponsorship deliverables and asset requirements - Assure attendees are notified of requirements for full and timely registration and coordinate the registration of those who meet the requirements - Coordinate the lead retrieval activities in alignment with the Marketing Event Manager - Coordinate the preparation of the event kick-off materials and post-show reports for the business units and marketing leadership - Coordinate the availability of approved promotional items - Coordinate general marketing administrative tasks such as PO requisitions, content approvals, invoice processing, as requested General Employee Accountabilities - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give manager best advice - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment - Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws - Recommend viable improvements proactively - Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration with a marketing concentration, or related field or equivalent via education and/or experience Classes and projects relating to marketing and event-related activities Co-op, internship, or other work experience in a business administration setting Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.) Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 10%, sometimes with limited notice Preferred Qualifications - 2 years’ experience in a marketing role Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website: https://www.tmeic.com/.
