Job Overview The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in leading, delivering, and overseeing Salesforce and related technology projects within our Nonprofit Industry Practice. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while upholding the highest standards of quality and stakeholder experience. As a senior member of the team, the Senior Project Manager provides strategic guidance, maintains strong client relationships, and ensures alignment between project outcomes and organisational objectives. This role requires deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, strong project governance capability, and the ability to navigate the unique dynamics of nonprofit organisations. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who can: • Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce and technology projects within the Nonprofit Practice, ensuring alignment with project governance and organisational standards. • Demonstrate strong Agile Project Management capability, with the ability to adapt delivery approaches based on client environment and project context • Develop, manage, and execute project delivery plans, ensuring visibility across milestones, resourcing, risks, and dependencies. • Maintain rigorous scope and budget management, ensuring risks and issues are proactively identified, communicated, and escalated where required. • Communicate effectively with remote teams, particularly those based in the Philippines using a culturally aware and collaborative approach. • Engage deeply in solution delivery: understand the Salesforce solution design, maintain awareness of ticket-level activity, and provide informed input during client discussions. • Ensure project cadence, stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retros, and steering meetings is executed consistently and in accordance with governance requirements. • Set and manage client expectations clearly and constructively, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage change requests effectively, including assessment, documentation, communication, and alignment with the agreed change control process. • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Nonprofit Practice through feedback, process refinement, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications • Proven experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce or technology transformation projects, ideally within nonprofit or mission-driven organisations. • Strong capability in managing clients through change, including technology adoption, business process transformation, and user enablement. • Project management certifications such as AgilePM, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent. • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Salesforce Associate, Administrator, or higher). • High proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications. • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including core clouds, implementation considerations, and solution lifecycle. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. • Ability and willingness to work from our Sydney CBD, (or co-working space in Melbourne) at least twice a week. • Must be based in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne and hold a valid permit to work permanently in Australia.
