<p>ServiceNow Developer (Junior & Senior)</p><p>Location: Remote (Supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs)</p><p>Employment Type: Full-Time</p><p>Anticipated Start Date: July 2026</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>Emerging Tech is seeking Junior and Senior ServiceNow Developers to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Sustainment and Integration Support Services (SISS) program.</p><p>The ServiceNow Developer will support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support critical healthcare technology initiatives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, and program leadership to ensure successful delivery across multiple workstreams.</p><p>Preference will be given to candidates with existing VA access or prior experience supporting VA programs.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, and partner organizations to support program objectives<br>• Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to solution architecture and implementation<br>• Identify project risks, track issues, and assist with mitigation strategies<br>• Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and implementation artifacts<br>• Coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment<br>• Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment activities<br>• Maintain continuity of operations across multiple program workstreams<br>• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate within a fast-paced development environment</p><p>Required Qualifications</p><p>• U.S. Citizenship required<br>• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust clearance<br>• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience<br>• Experience developing, configuring, or administering ServiceNow applications<br>• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary technical teams<br>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p>• Current or previous support of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs<br>• Existing VA network access or active VA Public Trust clearance<br>• Experience supporting federal government or federal healthcare IT programs<br>• Knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner), electronic health records (EHR), or healthcare system integrations<br>• Experience supporting system integration, operations, cybersecurity, testing, or data management initiatives<br>• Experience working within Agile development environments<br>• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other relevant ServiceNow certifications</p><p>Junior ServiceNow Developer Qualifications</p><p>• Two or more years of ServiceNow development or administration experience<br>• Experience configuring workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform<br>• Strong understanding of JavaScript, REST APIs, or related technologies preferred</p><p>Senior ServiceNow Developer Qualifications</p><p>• Five or more years of ServiceNow development experience<br>• Extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions<br>• Experience leading technical efforts, mentoring junior developers, and supporting enterprise-level implementations<br>• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow modules, integrations, scripting, and platform customization</p><p>Work Environment</p><p>This position supports the Department of Veterans Affairs Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program in a remote work environment.
