Responsibilities and key results: Own the React Native app end-to-end — architecture, performance, release process, and roadmap — without needing the problem framed in advance Lead and mentor the two existing engineers already supporting mobile, setting technical direction and raising the bar for mobile craft Partner directly with Affan on engineering strategy and with Oisin on product direction where mobile intersects with growth, onboarding, and retention Drive native-feel polish: smooth animations, responsive interactions, platform-specific conventions (iOS/Android) Work in a PLG/A/B testing environment — ship features, instrument, measure impact, iterate fast Own app store presence and release cadence — versioning, store optimization, crash/performance monitoring Potentially help grow a dedicated mobile team as the app becomes a bigger part of the business Requirements: Proficiency in Typescript Strong experience with React Native Proven experience building and shipping consumer-grade mobile applications. Familiarity with common mobile tools and libraries (e.g., Expo, Firebase, push notifications, app store deployment).
