The Guidewire Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of Guidewire initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and system integrations. The role focuses on planning, governance, execution, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. This position requires strong experience managing enterprise platform programs, proven leadership across cross‑functional teams, and the ability to operate effectively in regulated insurance or financial services environments. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Governance Lead the full project lifecycle for Guidewire initiatives, from initiation through delivery and closure. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resourcing, dependencies, and deliverables. Establish and drive effective project governance, including status reporting, risk and issue management, steering committee updates, and decision forums. Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), while maintaining flexibility to meet project needs. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Build and manage strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, Guidewire vendors, and system integrators. Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure clear accountability, aligned priorities, and smooth execution. Oversee vendor performance, ensuring delivery meets contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines. Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and outcomes clearly and confidently to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Delivery Assurance & Implementation Ensure project scope remains aligned with approved objectives and is managed through formal change control processes. Support release planning, cutover activities, and implementation readiness, including business go‑live planning. Drive post‑implementation reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen future delivery. Required Qualifications & Experience 8+ years’ experience as a Technology or Platform Project Manager. Proven track record managing enterprise software or SaaS platform implementations (Guidewire experience strongly preferred). Solid understanding of insurance or financial services environments, including regulatory and governance considerations. Strong expertise across core project management disciplines including planning, budgeting, risk management, reporting, and governance. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
