This role is ideal for a self-directed attorney with substantial insurance defense experience who can independently manage high-value and complex litigation matters with minimal supervision.</p><p>The attorney will work remotely and contribute to the firm's regional presence, professional relationships, and continued growth throughout Western Pennsylvania.<br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Western Pennsylvania, PA<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time<br><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Fully Remote</p><p style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong><u>Practice Areas</u></strong></p><p>Insurance Defense | Complex Casualty Litigation | Large Loss | General Liability<br></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Independently manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including high-value and complex litigation.</p></li><li><p>Develop case strategies and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.</p></li><li><p>Conduct and defend depositions.</p></li><li><p>Handle court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trial preparation.</p></li><li><p>Take ownership of significant litigation matters with minimal supervision.</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, claims professionals, self-insured entities, and corporate clients.</p></li><li><p>Build regional professional relationships and contribute to the growth of the insurance defense practice throughout Western Pennsylvania.</p></li></ul>
