THE ROLE We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and operationally driven Sr. Specialist, Retail F&D Operations & Master Data to support our growing retail business across key national partners including Costco, Target, Ulta, and other strategic accounts. This role will serve as the operational liaison between AG1, our retail partners, third-party systems providers, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order execution, fulfillment accuracy, and master data integrity across all retail channels. The Senior Specialist will own critical operational workflows including retailer onboarding support, purchase order validation, EDI transaction monitoring, inventory and MOQ validation, item master maintenance, and cross-system data accuracy across SPS Commerce, NetSuite, 3PLs, and retailer platforms. This is a highly collaborative execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of Supply Chain Operations, Fulfillment & Distribution, and Sales. The ideal candidate thrives in complex operational environments, proactively solves issues, and ensures flawless retailer execution from PO receipt through fulfillment. WHAT YOU’LL DO Retail Fulfillment & Distribution Operations (60%) Serve as the day-to-day operational point of contact supporting retail partners including Costco, Target, Ulta, and other national accounts. Coordinate cross-functional resolution of retailer operational issues related to fulfillment, routing, inventory, shipping compliance, and order execution. Support retailer onboarding and ongoing operational maintenance across retailer portals and systems. Purchase Order Management & Validation Review and validate incoming retailer purchase orders for accuracy, including quantities, pricing, ship-to locations, dates, item setup, and fulfillment requirements. Identify and proactively resolve PO discrepancies prior to fulfillment execution to prevent delays, deductions, or chargebacks. Partner with Supply Planning, Logistics, and Inventory teams to support successful order fulfillment. EDI & System Flow Management Monitor and support EDI transaction flow between retailers, SPS Commerce, NetSuite, and internal systems. Troubleshoot failed or inaccurate EDI transactions including PO acknowledgements, ASNs, invoices, and fulfillment updates. Partner with external vendors and internal technical teams to ensure accurate system connectivity and data transmission. Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination Validate inventory availability and MOQ requirements against retailer demand and fulfillment timelines. Coordinate with Supply Planning and 3PL partners to support accurate and timely order fulfillment. Escalate potential inventory constraints, allocation risks, or fulfillment disruptions to appropriate stakeholders. Retail Compliance Support Help ensure retailer operational compliance including routing, labeling, palletization, shipping windows, and fulfillment requirements. Support investigation and root cause analysis of retailer deductions, shortages, or fulfillment discrepancies. Master Data Management & Systems Integrity (40%) Partner closely with the Supply Chain Operations team to maintain accurate and up-to-date item master data across NetSuite, SPS Commerce, retailer portals, and related operational systems on an ongoing basis. Ensure SKU setup accuracy including UPCs, dimensions, pack configurations, case packs, pallet configurations, pricing attributes, and retailer-specific requirements are met post-launch and maintains accuracy. Cross-System Data Accuracy Manage synchronization of product and operational data across AG1’s fulfillment and retail systems ecosystem. Partner cross-functionally with the Supply Chain Operations team to ensure consistency of item attributes and operational data between internal and external systems. Process Documentation & Optimization Develop and maintain SOPs, operational workflows, and retailer-specific process documentation. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen data accuracy across retail operations. Reporting & Operational Visibility Support operational reporting related to retailer fulfillment performance, PO accuracy, inventory exceptions, and EDI transaction health. Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across retail operations workflows. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3-5 years of experience in Retail Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Fulfillment & Distribution, Order Management, or Master Data Management. Experience supporting national retail accounts within a CPG, wellness, supplement, or consumer goods environment strongly preferred. Hands-on experience working within ERP and EDI environments, preferably NetSuite and SPS Commerce. Strong understanding of retailer operational workflows including EDI transactions, PO management, ASN processing, routing compliance, and fulfillment coordination. Experience managing operational and item master data across multiple systems. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on operational accuracy and process execution. Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve operational issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across retailers, 3PLs, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Sales teams. Ability to communicate operational issues clearly and drive timely resolution across stakeholders. Experience with retailer portals and operational requirements for major retailers such as Costco, Target, Ulta, Walmart, or Amazon. Familiarity with inventory planning concepts, MOQ management, and fulfillment operations. Experience with process improvement methodologies or operational documentation preferred. AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $71,000 - $85,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
