Kentro is hiring for a Communications Intern to support the Marketing and Communications team within the Business Transformation Office. This is your chance to get hands-on experience creating real content that reaches federal agency decision-makers, industry partners, and a growing workforce of technologists. You will draft LinkedIn posts, support campaign execution, help coordinate events, and contribute to multimedia projects alongside a small, fast-moving team. Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours. Responsibilities Draft and edit content for LinkedIn, internal newsletters, and corporate communications. Support campaign logistics and tracking for account-based marketing initiatives. Assist with event marketing coordination for conferences and industry engagements. Conduct research on federal market trends, competitor positioning, and audience engagement. Help maintain brand consistency across digital and print assets. Support production workflows for multimedia content including video, graphics, and presentations. Contribute to internal communications efforts including employee spotlights, announcements, and engagement campaigns. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field Strong writing skills with attention to tone, grammar, and audience Comfortable working independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional content platform Interest in federal technology, government contracting, or B2G marketing Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating content creation ability (preferred) Comfortable navigating ambiguity on a small, fast-moving team Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to learning Reliable access to a computer and stable internet connection for remote work Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or basic video editing tools Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, or WordPress Exposure to government communications Benefits The Company We believe in generating success collaboratively, enabling long-term mission success, and building trust for the next challenge.
