Job Description:We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, preparing accurate financial records, and supporting business growth. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and ensure timely settlements.</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.</li><li>Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.</li><li>Oversee payroll and related statutory obligations.</li><li>Oversee and execute payments for e-commerce transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.</li><li>Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.</li><li>Provide ad hoc financial support to management when required.  </li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.</li><li>Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in Cyprus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax and VAT legislation.</li><li>Experience in e-commerce payments or online transaction processing</li><li>Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Navision, QuickBooks, Xero)</li><li>Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Docs</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English (Greek will be considered an advantage).</li></ul> "What’s in it for me" we hear you ask? <ul><li>A global and dynamic work environment, working with some of the best industry talent in the world</li><li>A company full of personal growth opportunities, where you'll be trusted to work autonomously, in a down-to-earth and collaborative, non-corporate style atmosphere</li><li> A choice of work locations.
