This position plays a pivotal role in developing, managing, and maintaining the program’s master schedule, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Outstanding opportunity for significant growth.  Key Responsibilities:<ul><li class="x">Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for complex, multi-year VA programs using MS Project or equivalent tools.</li><li class="x">Coordinate inputs from multiple project managers, functional leads, and external partners to ensure accurate schedule alignment and dependency tracking.</li><li class="x">Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and critical path risks.</li><li class="x">Conduct regular schedule status reviews with VA stakeholders and internal delivery teams.</li><li class="x">Support integrated project planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and reporting to ensure schedule adherence and performance tracking.</li><li class="x">Generate and present schedule status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.</li><li class="x">Incorporate Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods into scheduling as applicable.</li><li class="x">Ensure compliance with VA PMAS, TMS, and other federal delivery frameworks.  </li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li class="x">Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience).</li><li class="x">10+ years of experience as a scheduler or project controls analyst on federal programs.</li><li class="x">Proficiency in Microsoft Project.</li><li class="x">Strong knowledge of project management principles (PMBOK, EVM, critical path method).</li><li class="x">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li class="x">Ability to obtain a Public Trust.  </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li class="x">PMP or PMI-SP certification.</li><li class="x">Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.</li><li class="x">Familiarity with VA-specific tools such as PMAS, Jira, or ServiceNow.</li><li class="x">Prior experience working with system integrators or federal health contractor #LIREMOTE</li></ul> Here at rockITdata, we are committed to following our 10 Guiding Principles.
