Summer Intern – Healthcare Data Analysis Position Summary iMPROve Health is seeking a Summer Intern to support research and analysis related to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) program. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with healthcare data, conducting research, and presenting findings to support organizational decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Review CMS Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Public Use Files and supporting documentation. * Conduct analyses of publicly available Federal IDR data to identify trends, patterns, and key insights. * Summarize findings and develop reports for internal review and discussion. * Assist with data organization, validation, and interpretation. * Present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders as appropriate. * Perform other related duties as assigned. * Qualifications * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. * Technical skills in C++, Python, SQL desired.
