ABOUT THE ROLE Veho has built a best-in-class last-mile delivery experience for enterprise shippers – and now we're bringing that same quality to small and mid-sized businesses. The SMB team is one of Veho's newest and fastest-growing areas of focus: we're building from the ground up, defining the segment, shaping the product, and creating the playbooks that will unlock a massive new market. This is a rare opportunity to join a team where your work will directly shape how a new business line is built. As the Strategy and Operations Manager on the SMB team, you'll be boots on the ground – researching the SMB segment, defining our offering, and building the tools and dashboards that enable our sales and operations teams to succeed. You'll combine qualitative customer insights with quantitative data to help us understand who our SMB customers are, what they need, and how Veho can win their business. We're looking for a scrappy, analytical self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building things that don't exist yet. You'll thrive here if you love rolling up your sleeves, moving fast, and seeing your work directly shape how a new business line takes off. A background in consulting or high-growth operations is a great foundation – what matters most is your drive to figure things out and make an impact. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Research the SMB segment – who they are, what they need, and why they do or don't choose Veho – using a mix of qualitative interviews and quantitative analysis * Build dashboards and tools to support our SMB pickups program, in close partnership with the VP of New Initiatives * Map and drive the expansion of the SMB pickups program, identifying new markets and opportunities for growth * Partner with marketing and sellers to unlock new sales channels and improve conversion rates across the funnel * Support the rollout of major business development partnerships that have the potential to unlock thousands of SMB customers at once * Automate manual workflows using Claude, GSheets, and lightweight tools to reduce operational burden, including onboarding, client management and more. * Build scalable tracking frameworks to consolidate disparate data sources (e.g., feedback, sentiment, cohorts) WHAT YOU ARE * Analytical & Curious – You love digging into data, discovering patterns, and testing hypotheses * Scrappy & Resourceful – You find ways to get things done even with limited resources or ambiguous direction * Detail-Oriented & Reliable – You build clean dashboards, document your work, and check for accuracy * Proactive Problem-Solver – You enjoy working through ambiguity and finding ways to make things better * Communicative & Collaborative – You can explain your work clearly and work well across functions * Growth-Oriented – You’re excited to learn, take feedback, and grow your career in operations and analytics * Comfortable With Ambiguity – The business is growing and changing rapidly; you’re ready to solve tomorrow’s problems today WHAT YOU BRING * 2–3 years of experience in analytics, operations, consulting, or project support roles * Consulting background strongly preferred – candidates with structured problem-solving and client-facing experience have thrived on this team * High proficiency with SQL and Google Sheets; bonus for experience with Looker, Hex, or Tableau * Comfort using AI tools and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate research and build * Experience in a high-growth environment, marketplace, or logistics business is a plus * Exposure to gig economy or marketplace dynamics is of interest, though not required at this level * Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $110,000 per year The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
