This attorney will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking Criminal Defense and Family Law representation, providing legal consultations, evaluating potential matters, and connecting clients with the attorney best suited to handle their case.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">The ideal candidate is <b>licensed to practice law in Maryland</b>, has a strong background in <b>criminal defense</b>, and is comfortable discussing <b>family law matters</b> during initial consultations. Exceptional communication, empathy, and the ability to build trust over the phone are essential.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">Candidates who are available to work a <b>Saturday&#8211;Wednesday schedule (with Thursdays and Fridays off)</b> are strongly preferred. The ideal daily schedule is <b>9:00 AM to 6:00 PM</b>, though a <b>9:00 AM to 5:30 PM</b> schedule may be considered if needed.</span></p><h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Responsibilities</b></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Conduct consultations with prospective Criminal Defense and Family Law clients by phone.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Assess prospective clients&#8217; legal needs and determine whether Price Benowitz is the right fit.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Explain the firm&#8217;s services and guide clients through the engagement process.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Match prospective clients with the appropriate attorney based on their legal matter.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Prepare and complete retainer agreements.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Maintain accurate consultation notes within the firm&#8217;s CRM and case management systems.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Follow established consultation workflows while delivering an exceptional client experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Collaborate with the Intake and Marketing teams to improve client acquisition and conversion efforts.</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Qualifications</b></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Active Maryland Bar license in good standing (required).</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Prior Criminal Defense experience required.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Familiarity with Family Law strongly preferred.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Experience conducting legal consultations or working in a law firm intake environment is highly desirable.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Outstanding verbal communication and active listening skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Ability to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and confidence.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Strong organizational and computer skills, including experience with CRM and case management software.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;">Sales, client intake, or customer service experience is a significant plus.</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Compensation &amp; Work Arrangement</b></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Salary:</b> $65,000&#8211;$80,000 annually, based on experience.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Additional Compensation:</b> Competitive commission structure.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Location:</b> Fully Remote (U.S.-based applicants only).</span></li><li><span style="font-size:14px;"><b>Preferred Schedule:</b> Saturday&#8211;Wednesday, with Thursdays and Fridays off.
