The Senior Consultant, Modern Security will deliver proactive and reactive security and endpoint management services to clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering strong client relationships. This role involves remote and onsite implementations and support. The Senior Consultant, Modern Security collaborates with client stakeholders, other technical consultants, Client Leads and Account Executives to deliver proposed technical solutions and services the “IX Solutions” way. The position works to improve consistency in security alignment, security services deployments, application patching, and helping our clients adopt a “cloud-first” model. The position reports to the Manager, Service Delivery. The position works 40 hours per week, with business hours being 8:00am to 5:00pm MT/PT, Monday to Friday. There are occasional requirements for after-hours work including time sensitive client requests and project work. Balancing multiple priorities with deadlines is a requirement. style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Provide consulting and technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members and clients.</li><li style="margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Serve as the subject matter expert for technologies within  the Security team's technical purview.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and project objectives.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Deliver IT support, project planning (including the development of statements of work & work breakdown structures), and technical delivery of managed services to a broad range of clients.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Plan and execute transition of endpoint management from traditional solutions such as SCCM to Intune including Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, and Entra-joined workstations.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Plan and deploy Microsoft security products such as Defender, Sentinel, and Entra ID to protect against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Conduct Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management review workshops with clients.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Assist or lead projects from initial assessment, solutioning, design, and implementation.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Provide training and guidance to clients on information security standards, policies, and best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Deliver recurring security services and monthly reporting to clients.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with Intune best practices, such as Autopilot, device enrollment, endpoint security, application packaging and update management.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with the Microsoft Defender suite. </li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, both deployment and threat hunting.</li><li style="text-align:justify;margin-top:8px;margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with Microsoft Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Protection and MFA, both deployment
