Earthy Gourmet, a renowned chef personal brand, is scaling two decades of health-education and chef experience into a formal media and education business: a newly launched online course, alongside a podcast, YouTube channel, and Substack now in development. Local When We Can, a specialty food brokerage, has spent 12–15 years building the relationships that connect CPG food brands with retailers such as Walmart, Sprouts, and Trader Joe's, and is now formalizing its operations, including a new CRM in Monday. This role is being created because marketing and operations have become a shared bottleneck across both businesses. Reliable, strategically-minded marketing talent proved expensive and difficult to sustain in the U.S., and neither business currently has a dedicated resource who can move beyond execution into real ownership of content, digital presence, buyer-facing materials, and the day-to-day systems that keep both companies running smoothly. The Marketing & Operations Coordinator will become the primary marketing and operations partner to both brands, working directly with them rather than through layers of management. This person will own content and channel strategy for Earthy Gourmet's course, podcast, YouTube channel, and Substack, while producing the collateral that supports Local When We Can's retail partnership conversations — and keeping the CRM, records, and administrative workflows behind both businesses running without oversight. This role calls for enough judgment to guide decisions, not simply execute against a brief. Success in this role looks like consistent, high-quality content across both brands, marketing materials strong enough to credibly support retail buyer conversations, operational systems that run reliably in the background, and a partner who proposes direction rather than waiting to be told what to do. Requirements Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) — mandatory. Experience in consumer goods (CPG), food & beverage, wellness, or health marketing. Hands-on experience with video editing for digital and social media content. Mid-level marketing professional with the ability to contribute both strategically and tactically. Strong ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, self-managed approach. Preferred Experience managing or growing a founder-led or personal brand (coach, chef, educator, creator, etc.). Familiarity with podcast and YouTube content production. Confident proposing ideas, providing feedback, and improving marketing initiatives. Nice to Have Experience supporting trade marketing for food, CPG, or brokerage businesses. Experience with newsletter platforms (Substack or similar). Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools. Experience using Monday.com or other CRM/project management platforms.
